If...
"...I was as talented as the people I know, I'd be riding high - not looking up from below."
The winter has set in here in London and it is really hard to leave the house to do anything productive. Plus I'm broke and it's that month where I add another year onto my life and reflecting on what has been going on since the last time I did it. This time around (since I've not really done much to speak of at all) I have noticed that many of the people I know in the big smoke have really done some great things in the last 12 months. For this reason I am dedicating this post to the achievements of my compadres that are moving past the realms of 'alright' and into the realms of 'really quite fucking amazing'. Some of them you will recognise, some I feel deserve the recognition (so go to their links!!!)
Well done chums, may your success continue long into the future!

Kubik Returns
After a four year absence, the Kubik Project is back and will start a new voyage from its home town of Berlin. The concept was to create a light room installation that was designed to "re-energise disused urban spaces around the world by creating a unique fusion between water tanks, light shows and electronic beats. Stacked up tank-walls illuminated in different colours are composed to a piece of stunning architecture, which interact with the beats of music."

Check out the project HERE.

A Night Of The Long Shorts Film Screening

We will be joined by several of the film-makers, beer will be a plenty, and a bit of an after party if you stick around.
Two separate screenings, 8-10 and 10-12, so you won't miss anything if you're later.
All films will be screened upstairs at the Rosemary Branch's theatre, minimal entry cost of £2, which I promise you is worth it.
I will personally refund your money if you don't enjoy yourself.

Iron Sky The Moon Nazis Are Coming
Check this Film Synopsis Out: Towards the end of World War II the staff of SS officer Hans Kammler made a significant breakthrough in anti-gravity.
From a secret base built in the Antarctic, the first Nazi spaceships were launched in late ‘45 to found the military base Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun) on the dark side of the Moon. This base was to build a powerful invasion fleet and return to take over the Earth once the time was right.
Now it’s 2018, the Nazi invasion is on its way and the world is goose-stepping towards its doom.

Now if that isn't the beginning of an amazing movie..then I don't know what's wrong with this world....
If you want to contribute to this movie financially to help it get produced, you can join their grassroots campaign HERE.

Jayne Helliwell

Illustrator and friend Jayne Helliwell tragicly passed away on the 14th April 2010 whilst cycling home in central London.
Having known her for some years now the news came as a devistating blow to myself all that knew and loved her. Jayne was an immensely talented and original person that never compramised or took the easy way out. The intention of this post is to celebrate the work of an extrodinarily gifted young lady.
Though she will be sorely missed by all that knew her, the memories will live on forever. See you on the other side little lady. x

Internet shit I'm diggin'
So it's been a while since I last posted anything on ESP, but that's only because I've been radding out all day and definately not because I've been teaching numbskull kids how to design absolute ass on photoshop whilst wanting to cut open my eyeballs with a bread knife......no really, I honestly have been radding out. Anyway, during the rest times between awsoming out, I have been looking at cool shit on the net and here are a few of my finds in no real order:
1. The alien abduction lamp:
I was a little hesitant to post this as I want one and I would rather no one else in the world had one, but then I thought well 'who cares' and 'I'm not going to buy one any more anyway cuz I'm over it already'.
2. A few of the most assome tats ever:

and my personal favourite:

3. The Internet Shack from Thrasher.com:
4. Ultimately assome bands to skate to:
Radio Moscow (thanks to Jonners for this hook up)
Eyehategod (because they are the greatest band ever made and they reformed AND they are playing in London next month and I'm going)
5. Dope films that should be watched given half a chance:
Trash Humpers by Harmony Korine
Running Stumbled by John Maringouin
6. Style for miles:
Das RK
Well hopefully that will keep you bedroom dwellers/slackers/stoners/agrophobes something to occupy yourselves with for a few minutes at least. If not go fucking skateboarding! If you don't skate, then I suggest you learn.......it'll be the best thing you ever do.
