Portrait Photography by Lisa Wiseman
After graduating with a degree in sociology, Lisa Wiseman decided to spend another three years getting a second bachelor of arts degree, this time in photography. Thanks to her parents, who didn't balk when she told them she wanted to do something that "potentially made no money," the decision was not the largest hurdle she faced early in her career.
Lisa is a partner in the Dayton office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. She received her undergraduate degree, graduating summa cum laude, from Wright State University, and law degree, graduating magna cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law. Ms. Wiseman focuses her practice in estate planning and probate. She advises clients on a broad range of personal and succession planning matters, including planning for lifetime gifts and transfers at death, estate planning for families with children with disabilities and asset protection planning. In addition, she assists clients with trust and estate administrations and represents clients in guardianship proceedings. As a part of her practice, Ms. Wiseman also counsels clients regarding a variety of gift and estate tax issues.
